Blackpool is well served with public transport, buses and trains have a reasonable service. There are direct trains to many of the major cities you might want to visit whilst you are here. Day trip tickets can be very good value, we prefer to use the train rather than drive and park whenever we are doing a day trip to Manchester or Liverpool. Day or week rider tickets on the buses/trams are very good value also.
Blackpool North is the nearest rail station and just a few minutes walk from Scarlets.
Latest info, we now have access to two off road parking place across for our hotel, Its £5 per day and first to book gets it. We are hoping to add more in the next few weeks but if you want to arrive and be free of parking worries then this might be a good option for you.
For those coming by car adequate free parking is available on the road outside the hotel, they can be hard to find if you arrive late or at peak times. Just around the corner is a car park we recommend, lighted and with CCTV (Bank St by the railway station). Rates are very low in comparison to major cities, pull up outside the hotel to drop your cases and we will advise where to go. There is also a multi-storey covered option only a few minutes away if you prefer, well maintained supervised and locked up at night times, charges change by time of year but are pretty good value. Unlimited in coming and going but within normal opening hours.
